DelaHoussaye Received LABI Endorsement
Crowley, LA—Isabella delaHoussaye, candidate for State Representative in District 42, has received the distinguished endorsement of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry’s (LABI) WESTPAC. This entity represents the political interests of business people throughout the western region of Louisiana.
Ginger Sawyer, executive director of LABI, said, “The board’s decision was primarily driven by the strength of Isabella’s interview which showed her background, character, and philosophy to uniquely qualify her to serve in the Louisiana House of Representatives. In addition, the committee noted her focus on economic development and history of working to attract jobs to the Crowley area. Her unique experiences position her well to continue these efforts in District 42 and the legislature.”

As your representative, I will continue the path I have started and support the growth of business to advance of the state of Louisiana as a whole. It is my goal to create and expand economic opportunities for our state and our citizens.”
Isabella delaHoussaye served as mayor of the City of Crowley for nine years. During her terms, the city experienced unprecedented growth. She also spearheaded the historic restoration of the new Crowley City Hall and established the Rice Interpretive Center and the J.D. Miller Recording Studio Museum.
